An alternative view on alternative energy
Sure, wind energy is renewable, but there’s a catch: electric wind turbines seem to be powered by birds crashing into them to their death. How else would 30,000 birds die this way, each year (in this tiny little country alone)? I’ve done a simple, crude calculation, which shows that we only have wind bird energy for approximately 900 years before we run out of birds to power those ‘wind’ turbines (this time span assumes a constant rate of decimation, not slowing as you’d expect, towards the final years/decades of our bird population; also it assumes no noticeable change in the placement of turbines – like amount placed, location etc.).
How environment friendly is that? It’s one thing to pretend human kind isn’t part of the environment, yet it’s another to willfully kill so much of it. And when we’re dependent on turbines for power supply, we (the common fools) will get all the flak about us being responsible for this massacre, which is a blatant lie, of course: as if we deserve punishment for being so gullible, and thinking that they (sometimes any way) have best intentions for us at heart, I’m skeptical about that, in case you hadn’t noticed yet.
